Eleni - Roto Design Brief (beginning)
Hello people! Here I have the beginning steps of my design brief so far. Please let me know what you guys think! Thank youuuu
Eleni – this is looking quite good. The written brief covers what it needs to cover, although towards the end you start to use “I want…” which should instead be phrased “I intend…”
Your color palette is a subdued one, which makes lots of sense and is allowing the bright blue in your bottom photo to really pop in contrast to the page. So – if that was your intention, you’ve succeeded.
Fonts: I wonder if your headings will be Walkway Black all caps? This might be a good idea – and because of the boldness of the typeface, will allow them to remain a smallish size on the page. You might want to explore that option.
Logo: This is almost working perfectly. I do question the cut-away to the left of PRINT… it seems to create a neg shape that draws the eye. Is that what you want? I’m not sure… so a bit more thinking about that area might be a good idea. Have you considered pulling PRINT to the left into the space and then tracking it so it still continues beneath ROTO to lay to solid foundation? On the other hand… maybe you DO want that neg space there… because it appears to be a rectangle, which is a shape used in the
